home computer solutions

Creating a web site is a process that involves several stages.  This is a brief description of the process.

Development and Design

The content of your site depends on several factors. We begin with a dialogue - you know your business - you educate me. Who do you want to reach? Who are your customers? What products and services and type of information do you want to sell? Do you need simple online interactive communication or full e-commerce? I'll spend time with you deciding what your site should include. Then I 'll design and construct the pages for your site directly on the internet for you to review and edit.

Implementation

Submitting your site to the various search engines to promote maximum exposure is an important part of the implementation process. This also involves choosing a host for your site and publishing your site on the host's computer. The host is the company that will make your site accessible on the internet.

Maintenance

After your site is created and published, maintenance such as updating data or adding new information on products or services is often required. For an annual fee I can be maintain your site or, if you prefer, I can set you up with all you need to maintain your site yourself.

Pricing

The cost of a establishing a web site can range widely. As a guideline for estimating costs, my charges for design and publishing start at $250.00 for a basic site of up to three pages. Special features, such as graphics, forms, etc. are extra cost items. After your site is published, monthly fees for hosting and maintenance start at about $25.00. The registration fee for your own unique domain name is $5 - $10 annually. If you contact me with details of your requirements, I can give you a more accurate cost estimate.
